American Airlines Center — Dallas, TX
TXU Energy is one of Texas's largest retail electricity providers. The environmental graphics project developed inside the American Airlines Center, a 20,000+ capacity arena in Dallas.
The project, developed through The Sign Pack in collaboration with Image212, covered a full signage system for a major sports venue in Dallas, spanning multiple sign types across thousands of square feet.
The scope included front and reverse lit channel letters, illuminated push-through signs, SEG light boxes, and large-scale digitally printed wall graphics, some reaching 4,800 sq ft.
Each format had to work independently and as part of a cohesive visual system, holding the brand consistently across different lighting conditions, distances, and viewing angles.
The wall graphics were designed and composited entirely in-house: large-scale sports photography featuring Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Stars players, integrated with the TXU Energy visual identity.
The challenge was balancing the energy of the sports imagery with the corporate brand, making sure TXU read clearly without competing with the athletes.
